The Resiliency Series
Stress, adversity, trauma, and tragedy are all-too-familiar to many of us in these turbulent times. We can’t always prevent heartbreak and disappointment from crossing our paths, but we can develop skills to bounce back from hard times. That’s what resilience is all about: focusing on the meaningful aspects of life and acknowledging negative feelings without letting them take over.
In The Resiliency Series, you will cultivate your emotional, cognitive, physical, and spiritual resilience. Taught by Carol Cornell, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and board member, the class will give you the skills for wellness in the face of life’s challenges. Because social connections are integral to resilience, you will also form bonds with other participants and learn to aid others when they need a helping hand.
The series is ongoing and new temple members are welcome to participate.
